So the kids aren't sick anymore.  They handled it well and it was all over in a week.  Zach and I haven't gotten sick thank goodness.  We are all very healthy and well, even our pets who are doing very well in this weather.

The snow came at as hard then stopped and went to rain and clear cold skies for a while.  Then Friday night the blizzard hit.  We've got two feet that night and another few inches last night.  It's snowing right now and I do hope we don't get too much tonight.  We missed church because we couldn't get the car out.  Zach has been shoveling non stop all day Saturday and today to keep the road clear enough to get to work tomorrow.  He's done an amazing job but has only gotten half the road done.  The last half is packed done and ripped up from our neighbors snowmobile, it's alot harder to shovel by hand now.  He'll do it, we will get out.  Zach amazes me everyday.  Me and the kids came out to join him for a bit today but the kids don't like to stay out long so I couldn't shovel much or give him much of a break.  I try to help out by splitting kindling and keeping the fire going, shoveling off the trampoline and dog poop out of the kennel when I get the chance.  The kids can't be left alone for too long.  The bathhouse still only has half a roof and the other half is tarped playwood and covered in 2 feet of snow.  It should slide off soon though and we have more roofing being shipped up as we speak.  We still need to put a roof on the woodshed but it is holding up,  the dogs need a proper roof as well as a proper doghouse and some warm straw bedding,  the cat needs someplace to sleep and eat that is warmer too.  Right now she hangs out in the woodshed on the logs.  She has done good cept for the really cold icy weather we had.  Her paws stuck to the ice and made it hard to walk.  She is a very very great cat.  We still have to burn all the moldy things from the bathhouse like the couch and bookshelf.  I don't like to go in there anymore it's so gross.  I think mold is also just more prevelant here as we have it in the corners of out windows and the top of the front door.  I'm constantly cleaning and keeping laundry, garbage, recycling, food, and moisture in check as to make sure nothing is in the wrong spot to do damage.

 I want to make sure I'm not complaining at all.  We are doing great and the snow is beautiful, so far we are able to keep slightly ahead of it and we'll find a final solution soon for the rest of the winter.  Zach has alot of pressure on him and I try to lift that when I can.  We have alot of great friends and neighbors who help out and we hope to repay them for all they've done.  We want to be good neighbors too.

Zach's done a great job with the new website layout and is still working on it.  So it's not done but you can see how much nicer it is.  That he finds the time to do this is a great present to me.  I think he needs to blog something on here so it's not just my opinions in this online journal.  I bet alot of people are tired of hearing me.
