Well I haven't blogged in a while but had to document the kick-off to my month of August.  In two days I got messier then anything!  I woke up Monday morning to Fox throwing up in my hair.  Felt gross and gave myself a baby wipe bath,  french braided my hair and moved on.  Nothing I could do about it till Wednesday bath day.  Tuesday was doing dishes and had a potfull of boiling dirty tomato pasta water.  I was alone with the kids and they were fussy so I went inside to wash the dishes on the floor on a towel.  I came in and Fox was right infront of the door so I stepped over the babygate that blocks the shoes and garbage from the rest of the house and somehow I tripped and went heals over head over babygate and the pot flew up in the air splashing and pouring all the dirty hot water all over me and the floor.  I bet your worried about fox? Well he was just fine, he crawled away in time.  So now I have a disgusting tomato water floor and I'm covered in it too.  Another baby wipe bath and a change of clothes was the best I could do.  I cleaned up the house and decided to go for a ride on the ATV to cheer us up.  We all get on and Fox is in the backpack carrier and we head down the back road to the river.  That road is only ATV friendly and you cant drive a car on it yet.  I took a corner  and it turned out to be kinda steep.  The ground is soft and there is lots of bark mulch.  The ATV went on it side and Fox flew out of the backpack carrier, the carrier flew off me and me and Joie both flew off the ATV.  Now we were all covered in bark mulch.  That was the least of our worries at the time though.  The ATV almost came down on us which was really scary,  like I still cringe,  but it didn't and it went back right side up on it's own.  We were all scared and I ran the kids up and put them on the old ferret cage. Then went back to check on the ATV.  It was fine and started up so I drove it back up the hill.  I told the kids no more ATV and time to go inside but they cried because they wanted a ride.  So we took the main road to the creek and beaver ponds and then came back up home and cleaned up the best we could.  Wednesday we weren't able to take baths but that didn't stop me!  Zach did a favor for our neighbors and I asked a shower favor in return ;)
