Last week Down and The Camping Trip

Our trip is coming to an end. We fly home tomorrow and we are excited to see Daddy and be home but will miss everyone for sure. It has been a very fun and fulfilling trip, we have done so much.
We got back today from our camping trip. At first I wasn't that excited. I mean I was but then again. It was a family tradition we had growing up and it did make sure we were all together and couldn't go off somewhere else, but the campground was definutly not like real stickin it out camping. When we got there I was Ohh....so many cars and people and stuff but then I remembered I did love that when I was a kid because that meant for that week I'd meet so many different new people from all over and meet new friends. I always loved the Coquihala Canyon, it was my favorite place ever to be growing up and I swam in my clothes because I forgot my swimsuit, and Bridal Falls has so so many memories. The whole area does. It was wonderful to share that with my kids. Joie's been there before but now that she is older she can really make memories and enjoy it that much more. The only thing missing was Zach but that couldn't be helped and we'll be able to go there again all together sometime.
I missed Amanda alot too. She wasn't able to go because of an infection with her dialysis and was in the hospital. She's back now and I was able to tell her how much I missed her whenever I had a memory from when we were kids. Holly and Grant just don't remember all of those because they were too young. Alot of things have changed in that area though too and I shared those with her when we got back.
Grant stopped by on his way back from tour. He stayed for a bit and visited which was really nice but then had to go back home because he had his bandmates with him. We'll see him some more tonight to say goodbye. Holly is now engaged and was proposed to in the Coquihala Canyon by her now fiancee Shane. He is going to be serving a 2 year mission for our church and so they will have a long engagement. We are all so proud of them and excited. There was a girls and kids tent and then the guys tent. So everyone in a really big tent and then My Dad and Shane bonded in a lil two person. It was probably good for them but now Shane acts a bit more like My Dad haha. Sleeping with the kids in a tent was fun... Let's just say we all didn't get much sleep.
It was a great camping trip and I'll write more details about the kids and such on their webpages.
