Thanksgiving has come and gone but was alot of fun. We organized a potluck dinner at the church because alot of people in our branch don't have their family here. The church covered the meat with 4 turkeys and a ham for about 30 people so we had alot of leftovers to take home.  I haven't been feeling well so we didn't take too much as it probably wouldn't get eaten.  Dinner was great,  we contributed a green bean cassorole which was gone quick, Zach made it well.  It was fun to taste everyones traditional family recipes.  After the dinner we had a bean auction game by Elder and Sister Hintze.  We were asked questions and depending on the answers we were to either take or leave beans.  Zach was out beans for not brushing his teeth that week.  It was alot of fun.  The what beans you had were your currency for 20 mystery items.  Zach gave me his beans as a Birthday present so I was able to bid alot.  I won a mountain dew, 2 chocolate bars, lollipops, and marshmellows.  Hints were given for each thing to throw you off of what you might get.  Sister Stoddard had the hint of sex appeal and won moose hormones for  hunting and someone had the hint of a lincoln print and received small money.  President Stoddard saved his beans to the end and won the last thing which ended up being a bag of more beans...food storage starter kit ;) It was a really good time. That day the newspaper came out as well and in it was an ad for my Birthday!  It was a great suprise except that Zach wanted to show it off to everyone,  which they'd see it eventually,  but then everyone wished me happy birthday and wanted to do things for me.  I'd rather keep it a secret and not make a big deal,  but I really did appreciate the ad and it was a wonderful suprise.

My Birthday was great.  As well as the ad I receieved a very big chocolate cake with M and M's,  Sheepskin slippers,  a gift certificate for 33 Mile Roadhouse,  and some Andes mints. Zach made the day special with french toast for breakfast,  help with the kids,  some dishes help and homemade burgers for dinner that were just so yummy looking and tasted just as good.  I even had a back massage that evening while we watched Maverick.  It's great to have a bad memory cause the movie was completly new to me, and it was a very funny movie, I recommend it to everyone.
